General Description

NTR-985 is a new chromium-based catalyst developed by Shanghai Nartrin Chemical Company that was designed for large part blow molding and geomembrane  applications .

For large part blow molding application, this extra high molecular weight copolymers is tailored for intermediate bulk container application that require:
          *Outstanding impact resistance
          *Outstanding ESCR
          *Excellent processability
          *UV stabilization
          *Durability

Another for geomembrane and packaging film application, this medium density high molecular weight copolymer is tailored for Landfills liners, Gasoline and chemical tank containment liners, Tunnel moisture barriers, Mine tailing collection projects, that require:
          *Outstanding ESCR
          *Broad fusion range
          *Excellent melt strength
          *Good processability

NTR-985 catalyst is specifically designed to run in Lupotech-G process, yielding high production rates as a result of:
          1) A high melt index potential so that ethylene concentrations can be high, and the hydrogen response is more sensitive than that of other catalysts.
          2) The catalyst activity is quite high, beyond that of standard Cr/silica catalysts, so that costs are reduced and the polymer is very clean.
